I’ve actually been meaning to post this for the longest time. Being a fan of period dramas and romances, it was a fresh bit of cinematic air the way this movie not only portrays a historical love story, but also shows the  deliberate development of the affection of the main characters for each other. Like with a lot of films, especially love stories, I wanted this to be longer because I do enjoy the little intimate moments more so than any grand gestures. My only qualm about the movie is that I was a bit “faked” out at times, thinking that a particular scene would be the end and it turning out not to be the case. I had written a review of this before but I have forgotten where I have placed it, in any case, all it really says is this: It is a beautiful film, with a beautiful story, brought to life by wonderful actors, I recommend you see it.

Just an excerpt from the poem since I just caught the end of AI: Artificial Intelligence on HBO. That part always kind of kills me, {SPOILER ALERT} the one where the aliens make a clone of Monica for David but one that can only stay alive for one day,{END SPOILER} even though I’m not exactly the biggest fan of the rest of the movie. It’s pretty creepy in parts really and I vaguely remember people taking their kids to see this because it looked like a children’s film somewhat. It’s a decent exploration into human nature, and dehumanization, and morality among other themes [are there? I have actually forgotten].

Anyway, it’s a really nice film with a somewhat blunted ending that I could take or leave. One of the few times I’d rather a movie was shorter. Anyway, the format is different since I’m using photobucket to host since it’s just way more convenient in uploading and actually putting the pictures in a post. WordPress just lacks that bulk organization for media, at least in free blogging.

This gallery isn’t all very spoiler-rich. Some are actually a bit nonsensical out of context. I also missed some shots but I kind of loathe having to look for the movie and then remembering what scene I actually want to get a shot off and then ending up watching the whole movie again. Or something. Anyway, I just like the look of the animation of this movie since it makes me think “painting” instead of computer animation a lot of times.
